Enables you to hold your bar for pulling movements like the Rowing T-Bar and other floor movements. Very useful for developing your dorsal muscles, as the Rowing T-Bar effectively develops your lattisimus dorsi, teres major and the trapezius muscles  while strengthening your lumbar muscles.
